Titanium as a useful metal alloy has been used since the late 1940s. By weight titanium is one of the strongest readily available metals, making it ideal for wide range of practical applications. It is 45% lighter than steel with comparable strength and twice as strong as aluminum while being only 60% heavier. Due to the hypoallergenic and non-corrosive nature of Titanium, this exotic metal is widely used in a variety of industries from medical to military and jewelry to desalinization plants. With the flexibility of being alloyed with molybdenum, manganese, iron, and aluminum, Titanium is the metal of choice for Dale Engineering.
